Before Using Clotrimazole

  • If you are allergic to clotrimazole, any other medications, or any of the ingredients in clotrimazole vaginal cream, tell your doctor and pharmacist. 
  • Tell your doctor about any prescription and over-the-counter medications, ayurvedic, vitamins, nutritional supplements, and herbal products you're taking or planning to use.
  • If you have pain in your lower stomach, back, or shoulders, tell your doctor. Frequent vaginal yeast infections; been exposed to or have human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS); or been exposed to or have human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) (once a month or 3 or more infections in 6 months).
