How to use Amikacin

  • Follow your prescription's instructions to the letter. Use this medicine only as directed. Amikacin should not be used in larger amount or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended by your doctor.
  • Amikacin is commonly administered for seven to ten days.
    Amikacin is injected into a muscle or administered by an IV into a vein.
